The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research set the 23rd of September as the date for the launch of the free scholarship initiative for students from low-income families, families of martyrs, the popular crowd, villagers and rural people to be admitted to the medical group at universities and private colleges.
The official spokesman of the ministry, Dr. Haider Al-Aboudi said that the ministry has set on Sunday, the twenty-third of this September, the date of launch of the grant initiative free of charge provided by universities and colleges to accept the medical group until the tenth of October.
He added that the stipulations of applying for the grant stipulated that the competition should be according to specific criteria, of which the student should not be less than 94%, be part of the low-income group, orphans or martyrs, the popular crowd or the villagers. 2017-2018.
He added that the submission will be direct at the headquarters of the Department of National University Education and applicants will be subjected to an interview to see the documents that prove their coverage of cases of competition and apply for the grant.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research sponsored last year the distribution of more than five hundred free scholarships paid costs over the years of study in the medical specialities to the students of the outstanding class of martyrs and the popular crowd and families of the poor and displaced.
